Storm Damage – Seminole Office Building
Storm damage resulted in this Seminole office building when thunderstorms accompanied by high winds damage a portion of the roof of the building allowing rainwater to flow into the building. SERVPRO of Seminole & Central Gulf Beaches was called during the storm to place tarps on the damaged roof to limit the rainwater entering the building. After the storm had ended we were asked to arrange for roofing repair and provide water damage restoration services. The water clean up process began with the removal of debris as some ceiling panels had fallen from the water weight put on them. Trailer mounted extraction equipment provided for the suctioning the standing water. Then we placed commercial air movers and dehumidifiers to help in the drying phase of the process.
